ASUS TUF(The Ultimate Force) again nailed down another gaming notebook with featuring high-end motherboards to ensure stability and endurance life time of the laptop. This is entry-level gaming laptop ASUS TUF Gaming FX504 and as usual like past model TUF model, it comes with black and red theme wrap around this laptop.
However, one thing makes this laptop looks “cheapskate” but it comes with reason due to make it lightweight of the laptop where it actually this laptop wraps up with all plastics and is matte surface, unlike MSI laptop the palm is actually steel feeling.
Specification
It comes with Gigabit LAN port but but 2 USB 3.0 and 1 USB 2.0, why is not 3 USB 3.0 ports instead? Off course it comes with 3.5mm jack and 1 HDMI port. As usual it comes with 15.6” matte display to reduce for better viewing angle with IPS panel add-on. Besides that, it comes with DTS surround sound when plug-in headphone, it gives surround sound especially during gaming. The keyboard also built in better endurance where giving a feeling of mechanical keys. It come with default 4 GB DDR4, users can upgrade anytime max 32GB. 1 key thing is it comes with 12 Kingston SSD and also 1 TB SHDD too. Graphic card wise is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, this card no doubt can capable most of the game in the market.
However, I do have 1 typical requirement, FX504 it does not build with standard keyboard (e.g. Dell) where several keys are not in dedicated instead (e.g. Page Up, Page Down, END), it shared with another keys, user need to press “FN” to switch alternate key, is very troublesome for me actually, other than that it will be good buy for this.
