Overview
Single board computers are popular for various applications such as using it as an IoT device. The most popular one is the well known $35 Raspberry Pi. However, there are many features that the Raspberry Pi still lack, such as the ability to run Windows 10, or the ability to connect SATA drives.
I'm pleased to show you what Gigabyte had came up with in the past few days in their single board computer lineup. The Gigabyte GA-SBCAP3450 is a single board computer that has many ports and expansion in a single 14.6cm x 10.2cm board.

- Quad Core CPU
- Supports up to 8GB DDR3L SODIMM memory module
- 2 SATA 6 Gb/s ports
- mSATA connector
- 4 USB 2.0/1.1 ports through USB header
- Half size mini-PCIe 2.0 slot
- 2 USB 3 ports
- HDMI 1.4 port (supports up to 4K@30Hz or 1080p@60Hz)
Driver software support
This device works best with Windows 10 installed with Gigabyte supplied drivers. Running Linux is possible however drivers have to be obtained through a 3rd party website.
