Do you ever wonder what if there is no internet available? How you can even send messages, event notifications and file transfer with an ease without transfering from one place to another or carrying out a flash drive to let anybody copy your files inside it.

Well, LAN Messenger comes up into the idea. It is an open source cross-platform instant messaging application which is intended for communication over a local network. You don't have to setup a server anymore, all you just need is to have the app installed in your computer. It has the common features like it can send event notifications whenever is available, send a file transfer and lastly, message logging are provided which will let you communicate with the others!

It currently supports Windows, Mac and Linux.

I even used this application for quite some time. Here is my review below :

Pros :

• Free and open source application where you can use them for free
• No need of internet connection where it can run offline and can be connected to your local area network
• A good and fast messenger for your LAN where you can easily send and received messages without delay
• It does have a built-in file transfer functions where you can easily transfer files at ease
• You don't need to setup anymore since it will likely to run using it's executable file
• Fully supported on Windows, Linux and Mac

COns :

• It is a great application software which i don't see any negative feedback on this

Pros:
Available free off cost
No need to use internet connection
File transfers faster than the many internet uploading speed
Work smoothly

Cons:
Did not find any

Pros:

• This is an extension of our daily works, either at home, in the office or anywhere. If you don't have any internet connection, why not use this app for you to communicate with the others which are specified in a network? Hmm
• Really so helpful, I even used this before during college in it was like, yeah so helpful! Great!
• It is free which everyone most preferred to use!

Cons:

• None I can think as of the moment since this very helpful to everyone!!
