Whilst I love the look of the new editor, it is driving me mad and is spoiling my Steem experience, comments take 10 times as long to leave. Words and letters get displayed randomly and where's my beloved Markdown?
I'm hoping that it is because it's being worked on at the mo, but it is impossible for me to use.... Even this post was a chore ;-(
Mobile auto-complete is an issue for me.
i've also been having some issues with the editor today, it looks like it has been going back and forth in development today. Overall not too upset with Steem, given that we're still in beta and the site is still largely working well...
You're right, I was just trying to finish a post yesterday, so was getting a bit frustrated; I don't like to complain about the site, because it is doing so much for me and the little I do know about coding, makes me realise that the job of getting everything right is huge.
It must be hard changing stuff, with so many people using it at the same time.

When you click Markdown in the top right the preview returns :-)
Same for me... took 2 hours to finally get a post up.
great that the updates are being made for easier use for those not fluent in markdown, but not a smooth transition...
is good to have options both for the visual editor AND markdown
