A Huge Thank You To @steemed, @itsascam, @steemroller and All The Whales Who Morphed Me From Wage Slave To Creative Free Woman

in #steemit-thanks8 years ago (edited)

image6a6f7.jpg

As a creative slave and insomniac, I woke up around 3:20 am today, and began to visualize the next Secret Writer story. I'm a little backed up with secrets, and I think I have about 4 waiting in the queue. As I was letting the stream of feelings and images course through my body, I decided to check my smartphone notifications. I had recently been approached by @dercoco who wanted to do an interview with me. I noticed he had written a note in Skype.

We did the entire interview via texting, which is my preferred method anyway. I really don't like being on a camera. But that's not what I want to discuss. I want to talk about a revelation I had today, at the end of the interview.

A few days ago, my friend, @infovore had written an amazing interview with @steemed, a whale who has a total of 3 whale accounts. I was blown away by the interview and I suddenly realized that @steemed very often upvotes my posts. In fact I think all three of his whale accounts upvote my posts. I believe I'm on his "author list".

I was touched by the fact that @steemed views himself as a patron-shepherd for "creative slaves". Wow. Whales have a very tender side, I bet you didn't know that. I had some deep thinking to do after I read the article, but I want you to fully digest this passage from @steemed himself. Full article here

imaged8a79.jpg

"I'm here for content providers. I like hearing about their successful struggles with adversity, and in somewhat selfish service to my ego, I like to think that my support helps improve their lives. Creative people are by nature slaves to their creativity, and it is important for those who can have an impact to be cognizant of the stresses that unrestrained creativity imposes on artists and authors." -@steemed

@STEEMED JUST DESCRIBED ME! I have "unrestrained creativity" and I'm a CREATIVE SLAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!

imagef3383.jpg

Wow, this blew open my f*&5cking mind!

I realized that because of @steemed and other whales (I know there are tons of you and when you get interviewed, I'll know more about you) I have been transformed from a wage slave into a creative free woman. Before I found Steemit, I was working myself to the bone, for PENNIES. I was and am a creative slave. There's no other way to describe myself. Creativity is my lifeblood. Without it, I am lost, dead. It's the original source of energy that we humans have at our disposal, FOR FREE! It's insane when you think about it this way. We all have this limitless supply of creative, expansive and fantastically charged energy swirling around inside ourselves. It doesn't cost one penny to access it!

ISN'T THAT THE MOST FUCKING FANTASTIC THING YOU'VE HEARD IN A WHILE?

image1a5af.jpg

Back to my gratitude. It was only this morning that I finally began to realize that if @steemed and other whales like him were not here, I would still be stuck as a wage slave and I would not be a free woman. I woke up from my greed-soaked, sex-starved mindset and began to realize that I am lucky, very lucky to be a creator in this time and space in history. At no other time, (with the exception of royal patrons), would it be possible to be a slightly mad creative slave and have patrons who live on the other side of the planet who are not only keeping me alive, but providing me with wealth. This is a dream that I never in my wildest imagination, thought could be possible. And guess, what? I get to pass on that wealth to others, in my own creative and unique ways.

So, to @steemed and all the whales who have transformed my life and are transforming it as I write/type/draw/play, I guess it's really time to say:

image37a0b.jpg

THANK YOU.

I've decided, after 2 1/2 months, against my better judgment to break all my own rules and show a body part as a way to say thank you even more! (All the guys will hate me even more now). Ha ha! But I'm doing this for my own selfish reasons, actually.

This is because I want to somehow mark the end of a cycle: a 7 year-long celibacy cycle that has to come to an end before I totally lose my mind. Yes, you guessed it, it's a self-exploited boob shot. I finally just caved into the pressures of being a female in a male whale-dominated space. Are there any females whales, out of curiosity? If you're a female whale, please speak up right now. I've been asking this same question for weeks now.

I'm now exploiting myself, for the benefit of the whale gaze. But you'll have to wait to see it in @dercoco's post which is coming soon. I'll link to it here when it's out.

I'm a cougar, though, with a preference for either young men or geniuses so I don't really give a f*^%k. I did give two fucks about not exploiting myself yesterday, but today is a different day altogether and I haven't slept much. Breaking my own rules is my "rulez". Hope I don't regret caving in to exploitation pressure tomorrow.

Young girls may be hotter and have perkier breasts than me, may turn you on in a visually fleeting manner but no one can touch my ability to make a fantasy come true. My world is the fantastical. It's either written down or lived. It's all the same to me. To live in a mediocre fashion is death. I don't like death. (Yes, those are my own breasts, I know some idiot will be asking this question.....)

And to pay it forward to the community, spreading wealth, extending freedom and creative energy to all who dare to dream big, I have added tons of whale, dolphin, octopus, squid, orca, sea lion Steemit content photos in my Creative Commons image library that YOU ARE FREE TO USE FOR ANYTHING YOU WANT. Creative Commons no attribution means that you can use my photos for your own Steemit posts, advertising, marketing, whatever. While I would appreciate a shoutout, I am not requiring it. I've wanted to build a creative commons image library for years now, so I'm just going for it. I plan on making it really big and like no other free image library in existence.

imageeebfa.jpg

This means you can even use my images for your own commercial purposes, if you choose to do so. Here's my Creative Commons image library that you are free to use: https://www.steemimg.com/steemitqueen

Here's a sample of what is in the image library so far:

ps- One of the freakiest things about Steemit is this:

  1. Blue has always been favorite color
  2. I have a very strong connection to the ocean and its creatures (I developed a passion for body surfing and swimming with fish/animals when i lived by the beach in Oceanside, California.)
  3. Everything about Steemit feels right to me. It's like synergy.
  4. Decentralization of power and energy = something worth fighting/loving for.

pss- I don't care if this post gets zero upvotes. I DO care that @steemed and all the other whales have a chance to digest my overwhelming gratitude.

pssss- Look for a more revealing interview by @dercoco where I admit a bunch of embarrassing stuff. And here it is, there's even a photo in this article that I may someday regret.......it has something to do with exposing myself, somewhat....Here's the slightly too revealing interview that the little German beast, @dercoco managed to weasel out of me at 3:30 am in my sleep-deprived, semi-feverish state:

I'd like to thank these @steemed @itsascam two whales and others such as @dan and @recursive for supporting some of my articles and encouraging me to keep producing new content for Steemit.

You're exactly right @stellabelle, and also you're now our role model. You're the person who proves that Steemit promotes financial liberation. Freedom is more important than money if we are going to get ideological about it, but the path to freedom in a capitalist society inevitably includes financial freedom.

yes, I agree with you completely. It was Vandana Shiva who made me realize that we cannot truly be free until we are financially free from masters. She was a game changer for my evolution. I've been studying "free" people since 2011 actually. I'm interested in achieving sustainable, long-term creative freedom and then I'll be putting my resources into helping others (who are ready, Matrix-style) to also attain freedom. Being free means you have time to devote to making the world a better place to live in.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Steemit has the potential to liberate many creative people and give them a platform to express themselves with true freedom, away from the shackles of greedy middlemen and capitalism. A route directly to the audience who value your work.

You have been an inspiration for us all, and I'm sure many of us hope to follow down our path.

Just as all the whales have uplifted you, it is now your turn to uplift the most deserving of us minnows. :) That is how Steemit will flourish.

PS: Searching for that interview with @dercoco right away. ;)

Yes, and to that end, I have conceived of a new video show called: STEEMIT STORYTIME WITH STELLABELLE. I'll be wearing a dolpin costume, in a pool, maybe.
Each show will feature a minnow who I feel has real talent. Other topics might appear in it too, but the focus will be on me finding true gems that no one knows about. I will tend to focus on pure artists/writers/scientists as those people are the most disadvantaged, i think. The pure arts and sciences as opposed to the marketers/fashion photogs/commercial arts/design. But i"m picky...... I will always strive for these two things: quality and fascination.

That's absolutely awesome! I'll eagerly look forward to your new show. :)

It's a very noble gesture, I sure hope more whales/dolphins follow in your footsteps to promote talent from minnows. Particularly in niche topics and spaces which are unlikely to ever make it to the Trending page otherwise.

Once again, thank you so much @stellabelle, you're a credit to the Steemit community. :)

I had a vision of the show yesterday while i was swimming with the fake sea creatures. The vision just sort of came to me, so I have a pact with my imagination: whatever comes to me in a form of a clear vision, I have to do it. My daughter said she'd help me paint the sea-themed background for Skype interviews. Next thing is to research some under-appreciated minnows. Do you know of some?

I guess it would be narcissistic to post our own names :)

Show final: camera goes slightly up, there's a whale slowly flies in the air over your head, waving his fins.

Just to clarify, though. I am not a whale. I'm a fatty dolphin so my votes don't carry nearly as much weight as theirs

Well technically @stellabelle you're actually an orca :)

https://steemd.com/distribution?fishy=yes

Good spot. :)

I kinda don't like the Orca tag though. They are Killer Whales in other terms, and @stellabelle is the exact opposite - one of the most generous steemers I know.

I suggest Minke whale. They are smaller whales, but larger the dolphics. Very friendly too. :) And sounds cool.

Minke whale sounds cool. Maybe when I reach like the #75 spot on the richlist, I'll start calling myself a Minke whale.

@wingz, according to this table I'm a littlefish. :) Now I've got some work to do to grow and become a bigfish! :)

I am still a minnow lol
@stellabelle congratulation, all your hard work on Steemit had paid off with excellent results

oh really? how so?

Hi @stellabelle. I'm establishing the Q & A of Steemit with the people who matter. I'd love to be able to send you some questions re: your Secret Stories. Let me know if this works for you! Email if you can: [email protected] / or reply back . Thanks !

Check the link :)

@stellabelle all that matters is that you are big enough to start doing some real business over here :)
I wish you good luck, but i hope you won't need it hahaha :D

Indeed, that's how it works - Whales uplift dolphins; dolphins uplift minnows.

On a related note, I've been collecting data for the last couple of weeks about the distribution of Vests, and that's exactly what's happening! Hope to have a post up about it today.

I like how you openly say. "I'm a cougar, though, with a preference for either young men or geniuses." I always tell other guys they aren't a real man until they have been with a woman 10+ years older than them. :-P

ha ha! The only date I'd consider though is to meet in Barcelona, Spain inside that Gaudi Casa Battló fascination palace.
xvisit-rebedor.jpg.pagespeed.ic.NImmiurazmc1d29.jpg

Everything else would bore me.

You totally deserve it @stellabelle! If I we're a whale I'd upvote you each and every time you share something.. All your work, your passion and your effort is amazing and inspiring, and I appreciate everything you do. Sadly, I can't upvote and bump your earnings with more than just a few cents... Hopefully I will be able to do more than that in the nearest future. All it takes is some luck and some followers.. And obviously good content.. But I personally believe that I'm sharing quality so it's just the other two things that remains until I can increase your earnings with my upvotes.. It will happen!

Thank you for everything you do. Keep up the good work! :)

Steemit it hard we have to work with bright ideas, like the color blue is sea water it flows continue no matter what their zero upvote or empty money .. I like the way you, and you deserve a vote @stellabelle congrats!! vote done..

@stellabelle the content you share with us in so authentic it's really sick in a good way! Maybe being a slave in that way isn't so bad, look how many people you're inspiring!

ha ha! This is pretty cool.

Haha you are a fatty dolphin with a whales heart! You show love and support to everyone from minnows getting picked on by trolls with golden tickets to interviewing whales. You are invaluable to this community and I love that people are showing you so much love and support and I appreciate those that write meaningful comments beyond simply admiring your work. I am quite positive that your venue for giving people an anonymous platform to share their heart has saved people from suicide and feeling alone. I count you a friend, even though we have only known each other for a short time. Look forward to sharing your work with those who are new or say all steemit is is a circle jerk. :)

oh my god that's one of the best things I 've ever read

Jeez.....thanks. I wrote it as if I were to die tomorrow.

Thank you for sharing your story, it is an ispiration to I'm sure most here, who have aspirations of leaving the debt slave lifestyle, and embracing the creativity slave lifestyle.
I have felt like a fish out of water most of my life, gravitating towards interests most find outlandish or simply a waste of time. Who the hell would practice acupuncture and willingly be stuck, and stick others with needles for a living?
I certainly resonate with your message and hope to find the freedom you have found someday.
To your continued success.

ha ha! Good POINT.

why are you called 'transcendfinance?"
I have a keen interest in finance now, having neglected it for most of my life.

The idea behind the name is transcendence through unconventional means of the financial prison the vast majority of us feel stuck in. Whether that is crypto, artistic avenues, investment vehicles, steemit certainly fits into this model. We are not here to work soul less jobs that provide very little financial upliftment and zero spiritual nourishment. We are here to express our creative gifts, not suppress them in return for some supposed financial gain. A major part of the transcendent vehicle for myself is through Transcendental Meditation. I have been practicing TM for a couple years now and it has certainly helped to transform my perspective. Of course the ultimate transcendence is realizing that all personal value and spiritual wealth comes from within, all else is illusory. That's the trick any ways :)

Hey @stellabelle - I think the work you are doing is awesome! I wanted to let you know that I featured your #secret-writer project in one of my articles.

https://steemit.com/steemit-communityorganization/@timcliff/steemit-organize-steemit-communities-using-tag-category-steemit-communitydefinition

Yes, I just read that. I am happy to see communities taking shape, as that is exactly how I envisioned Steemit evolving. Creating mutual aid societies is part of the founder's vision. Nice to see that this is happening. We need as many empaths/creators/entrepreneurs as possible to even out the greed monsters. Greed is not really an issue for me but power, that's an entirely different beast that I grapple with. I want to use power in a good way, though. But I never said I was an angel. I'm not. But I'm just not your average sinner. I have over the top visions of people becoming free. That's where I get my energy...............I can imagine the masses becoming alive with their own power.

Very cool thoughts. I don't think anyone is entirely good or entirely bad. I think a huge part is which direction you consciously are striving for. Steemit has the possibility to cause a huge paradigm shift in a lot of areas. I think it has the possibility to change the world! :)

Hear, hear! To @steemed - whose belief in my work is also gratefully recognized and appreciated. The arts are vital to our lives, and when we can create freely, we have much to contribute. @stellabelle, I couldn't agree more.

When I think of steemit I think of you, you are a true success story, the vivid example of how Steemit just works!

I also feel kind of proud of spotting you on your first post as a "steemit rising star"..

Yes, thank you whales. You were the early adopters and put the time and effort in at the beginning. Everything they have earned is well deserved and nobody should give the whales crap for it.

Also, props to you also stellabelle and all of the other great authors here who have helped make Steemit what it is today.

Keep it up @stellabelle and thanks for upvoting my article before.

Taking in steemit, it is very important and necessary.
@tellabelle: You are a whale.congratulations!!

Good writer,... Keep up ur work..

Looks like you can't get zero upvotes :)

Congratulations for everything. And it is a nice post as a contrast to Secret Writer stories.

Keep on the good work!

Heya lady. :)
Glad to see you're doing so well here. Even though I don't know you that well, as a fellow Missourian I'll go ahead and say I'm proud of you.

You're welcome, you deserve it :)

Whalecome ;) Haha just a bad pun

So very happy for you :) Enjoy life I sure do and im a minnow !

#takeiteasy

So nice to hear your story. It will be a catalyst of inspiration for us all. We have got to thank Steemit and all the whales especially that spread the "love" everyday. So many lives have been changed and so much are in the process of change. I can't even imagine the possibilities this has in the future. I am a creative slave too and I am glad that I get a place to broadcast my most inner thoughts and feelings to thousands of people and perhaps millions in the coming future.
Best of luck for your future. I hope I can escape the cobwebs of life too. I am awaiting liberation and hope someday I will achieve it! Thank you :)

Just don't give up and live each day as if it were your last. But don't shoot up heroin.

LOL! My work is my heroin! And my creativity is my high! Thank you very much! :)

@stellebelle i don't know how to describe your content always interesting to read, good luck with your secret write project :)

Seemit whales are getting ridiculous, especially when you can buy power now. The account in my post was sold privately. Look at the steem power on the account in the post. Needs to change :/

https://steemit.com/steemit/@egjoshslim/steem-whales-are-a-joke-look-at-the-steem-power-this-account-has-it-s-a-bought-and-sold-account

Big sea creatures love you @stellabelle. As always amazing images!

Congratulation @stellabelle, you really deserve it and you deserve more because of the quality of your post, you are doing a great job, you are honest, using great photos, simple language just keep your posts wonderful , thank you for sharing your feelings, be well :)

thanks. I am curious to know how @steemed will react....

We thank you stellabelle,

you deserve it. Hard work pays off. Welcome to Steemit!

We all know you the queen of steemit and the best person I know.. Salute

Great post. I'm looking forward to steemit freeing a lot more creative slaves as time goes by.

hahaha Those pictures are great !! :D keep it up!

In looking at your previous posts, you have earned everything you have received. Congratulations!!

We're all creative slaves to one extent or another. Great for you to have found this opportunity. I salute you!! Stay awesome.

Lol your whales love you.

Congratulations, you are now in the 1% top

Hey guys! I'm just wondering if you guys can check out my steemit, I have an informational posts I think is really beneficial, thanks!

Nice picture, very cool

Share the secret of love, glad you are back and is that a cherry I spot on a Klimt

like the dolvin and upvoted

Amazing! Thanks for sharing, working towards getting there myself! :-D

@stellabelle, I'm very happy for you. I know you've struggled for a long time as an artist and writer. You inspired me to join Steemit and I thank you for your example. I'd love to know your thoughts on what I should write about here. I'd love to make $1,000 a week just writing for Steemit. I know it's possible because I see a lot of posts making $5,000 to $10,000 and some of those are just out of the gate as newbies. You can see that today in "Trending" as an example. My big disadvantages are that I'm still learning about cryptocurrencies so I can't write as expert on that this week and I'm not a hot chick. :) I can try to be funny but I think that also just has to come naturally. :)

Congrats! You deserve it.

It's so good to see another writer and creative person find success @stellabelle . Enjoy every second of this, bask in the long-sought freedom you've finally achieved.
