@dollarvigilante
The dollar vigilante (Jeff Berwick) is a popular anarcho-capitalist and early adopter of Bitcoin as well as an early user of Steem. He is also the founder of a successful blog. https://dollarvigilante.com/

@charlieshrem
Charlie Shrem was yet another early adopter of Bitcoin (I'm sensing a trend here) and a cofounder of BitInstant. He was sentenced to serve a term in prison when New York cracked down on the company and wrote a series of very interesting articles about his experience called A Geek in Prison.

@adamkokesh
Adam Kokesh is the man who brough me to Steemit. A libertarian, veteran and author, Adam runs a YouTube series where he challenges corrupt law enforcement "Adam vs the Man" and recently wrote a book.

@fyrstikken
Fyrstikken is a Norwegian author to many an interesting post here on steemit, and an important voice in the community. Fyrstikken was one of the first people i followed upon joining Steemit.

@generikat
Generikat is another great content creator who I've followed since the beginning. A very early adopter of the platform and a "part time librarian" with lots of great insight, Generikat is worth following.

@jesta
Jesta is one of the most influential Steemians and the creator of Steem applications. Most recently, Jesta announced the launch of Vessel 0.2.0 a secure wallet solution for Steem. My name also happens to be in the sneak peak of the application. Check it out here.

@kyriacos
Kyriacos is probably my favorite content creator here on Steem. Articles by Kyriacos discuss everything from depression to game theory to bitcoin. As a generally curious person his work always intrigues me has on many occasions sent me down black hole that is wikipedia looking up ideas concepts etc. He also makes dope follow buttons.

@papa-pepper
The coolest guy on Steem, Papa-Pepper is maybe the most notorious Steemian and an essential member of the community. I don't know what Steemit would be without him. Papa-Pepper is a great guy and has donated to as well as raised awareness about countless causes. he has engaged the community through his positive personality and awesome contests. (most recently the selfie challenge). He is also a homesteader/gardener/jack of all trades.

@senatorbrakey
Senator Brakey is a legislator from the great state of Maine, and a pioneer in the world of cryptocurrency. An advocate for freedom and Second Amendment Rights, Brakey is the first politician to accept campaign contributions in Steem.

@shaka
Shaka is a really cool curator of good content. He helped me out with one of my Great American Road Trip Posts one time and since then I've discovered a ton of great content through @shaka 's blog.

@jerrybanfield
On the list of most interesting people in the world is Jerry Banfield. He has promoted Steem through his YouTube presence and has lots of great tips. Check out his crazy Steemit journey here.
