ANONYMOUS STEEMIT ACCOUNTS FROM THE DEEP/DARK WEB

The Deep web is a really fascinating place and sometimes I love to explore it. According to statistics, only about 4 percent of the internet can be indexed by search engines. The rest is hidden in the dark alleys of the internet and can be accessed by special browsers like Tor+VPN (which protects your data).
It is very important to protect yourself in the Deep wild web, there are data addicts and black hats sniffing for exploits in the Dark web. I personally browse the Deep web through a virtual OS(tails) with my USB drive "better safe than sorry".

With the news of repealing Net-neutrality by the FCC, the Dark web has been buzzing a lot lately. It's no surprise because most visitors of the Deep web are very conscious of their privacy and hate government or private corporations interfering with their access to the internet.

I decided to do some searches on steemit keyword and see what people on the Deep web are saying about steemit, after eavesdropping on some forums, I found out that most visitors on the Deep web love steemit, it's no surprise because crypto is the currency of the Dark web.

For example, The site screenshotted below is very happy about the steemit platform being ads free and giving authors an incentive to create content through cryptocurrency.

Although some Deep websites are still skeptical about the privacy provided by steemit, like this one below;

This site is selling anonymous steemit account in exchange for BTC, LTC or STEEM.
They believe that steemit doesn't offer full privacy because steemit collects our Email, Phone-number, and Facebook. The site claims to offer full privacy.

I knew it was only a matter of time before a market for steemit arises on the Deep web, which makes me wonder how many anonymous steemit accounts are already on steemit.

There could be hundreds of thousands. The witnesses could mine new ids. Ids can be created by any account with a fee if you know how. You can then give the owner the owner key and there is a private account.

Wow, that is also true.

@abmakko, I've found your post to be worthy of a resteem and upvote from me. I'm an actual person and I am doing this on behalf of the Resteem - Upvote movement. Join the movement, read about it here: https://steemit.com/steemit/@jackmiller/a-call-to-arms-beat-the-bots-the-movement

resteeming you now. would love to join

Very interesting. Intriguing writeup, well done. Only time will tell but when pushed people find alternative solutions and the dark web will see a surge of new visitors I am sure

That is very possible

So is STEEM or SBD now funding criminal activity on the dark web? Shit, if that is provable, it is something to consider... (I would call it breaking news!)

I don't think steem is funding anything on the dark web. although what I know for sure is that the more steem gains value the more the currency is going to be used in the dark market, that is inevitable.

I know you're right... Same with dollars, even...
I wish I could earmark my SBD to only do good shit...

Nice info. Thanks

Thanks for reading ☺

This is very interesting indeed. I have read about the Deep web before but never intend to explore further. About selling Steemit accounts, an artist here was on Steemit was left in a lurch after she was blacklisted by the Cheetah bot. Apparently Cheetah found out her account was actually belonged to someone (a scammer, I think) and she had bought it without knowing who that person actually was.

wow. thats crazy. its better to be careful nowadays.

But isnt dark web or deep web illegal? :/

the dark web is not illegal. illegal things happen in the dark web

ok. that make sense. :D

I don't know much about the dark web, but I have heard about people creating anonymous accounts via @anonsteem. It's all very interesting. Only time will tell what the future of Steemit has in store for us here.

yeah I've heard about anonsteem, I guess its the same site I screenshotted
