I was reading Bitcoin.com and I clicked on this article about an Australian Primary School using Blockchains... https://news.bitcoin.com/australian-primary-school-students-explore-bitcoin-and-cryptocurrency-technology ...and while reading it, I saw it mentiond the steem blockchain, HMMM I thought, let me read further:

AND the students will get to be paid! Imagine letting the students build up their accounts and watching them discover that their steem is actually worth real money! They'll see that their homework is making money an so they will actually get excited to finish homework! It will get all sorts of bored schoolchildren excited about learning! The world is SO much more exciting and easy to learn about now that we have the internet with smartphones. All the cameras taking all these pictures and the social media to explore all the data has allowed the masses to either go into a state of passive media consumption or having fun creating new things to then record and upload to steemit or youtube!
This article goes on to discuss "Proof-of-Existence – “Students are learning about Proof-Of-Existence for their work, being able to prove for example that a photo they have taken actually belongs to them.”" Which sounds like BitMark, a stenographic blockchain cryptocurrency that allows someone to use private keys to discover where content originated to stop people taking credit for work that is not their own. A Private Key in a document can also help allow you to discover where a document leaked, so if anyone wanted to discover who leaked classified documents (trump Administration), those documents private keys could help you discover where the document came from. This tech can help stop academic cheating, and I have been talking about this for a few months, the need for University and School blockchains to allow people to take tests on a blockchain, and to have grades given out on a blockchain. We can maybe throw the free market in there, or have school credits become part of some coin that you have to earn through school work.
Honestly steemit is the best way to do all of this Academic Blockchain integration. A teacher can buy steempower and upvote his students work, giving a higher percent upvote to better work, also the community as a whole will also upvote on students work just as a result of it appearing on steemit and I can't think of a better way to get children excited about school! There are many ways we can integrate steemit with schools both obvious and not so obvious. Students are always being forced to make reports and essays they don't want to do, imagine if they could actually make money with their homework reports! Kids already upload video reports for school onto youtube, and those videos sometimes accidentally end up getting a lot of views and same will happen with submitting homework projects to steemit! Accidental Steemit homework money will become a side effect for any students lucky enough to go to a school that integrates steemit, which can be as SIMPLE as having a class sign up for steemit.com and posting homework on the site!
they are also storing their minecraft server over FTP using blockchain storage service storj.io which uses StorjX coins similar to the Siacoin system of decentralized low price cloud storage over the blockchain! This school is REALLY trying to fully integrate and it's a HUGE relief to hear SOMEONE is actually trying out there!
In the above bitcoin.com Article they mention how some students even want to create their own Initial Coin Offering, "Nolan states that he “now [has] a group of year 4 students that want to do their own ICO.”"
Oh great, now little kids are going to make their own ICOs. That's JUST what we needed. Perfect. But all joking aside, these kids are very lucky to have Australian educators care about them so much to be building shipping container nodes to teach these children a concept most adults have trouble learning! Every generation should get more intelligent, not less, and it shouldn't take 30 years to grow up, children should be independent by their teenage years. With crypto currency and specifically Steemit we have a real hope for allowing our children to make more money than we ever could at their age! Steem will be the currency of students around the world(Already almost is for college students!) and Steem in primary school will allow inner city kids to make MONEY off all those wasted days rotting in some useless underperforming school. Steemit will allow public schools to PRODUCE something of REAL TANGIBLE VALUE and education will become part of the economy in a much more sustainable way! Steem can allow Grades, Attendance, everything school related to be on the blockchain, and school work can now be monetized!
I feel like there is an unhealthy attitude towards children now and we don't expect much out of our kids and never give them a chance to be in any sort of position of financial power. The millennials are spit upon and shamed for the mistakes of their baby boomer and generation X parents. We should not be making so much fun of the youth when they are the ones who will be stuck with all the problems we selfishly left them with. Leave your child with Bitcoin, not student debt.
Anyway I am very proud of Australia! Bravo for believing in your children because it is a form of believing in yourself! Even if they aren't YOUR children, you should still want to invest in our future and more or less START OVER with a new generation. We can avoid the baggage of Fiat paper money and people's addiction to central banks by starting over with our Children, teaching them how paper fiat money is old and decrepit and about to die because its fundamentally unsound and offering Cryptocurrency as the LOGICAL solution. Those who DON'T teach their children cryptocurrency will suffer the same fate as those who never taught their children how to use a computer or the internet in the 1990s and 2000s.

Actually no youre wrong they mention steemit several times, and although It says steam blockchain. it is a typo, i pointed it out in the article in the comment i left on the bitcoin.com comments
but they also mention steemit.com multiple other times,

please don't doubt me that they are talking about steem....u think theyre gonna use the 'steam" blockchain? there is no 'steam" blockchain, they meant to say "steem" blockchain, it was a typo, i commented telling them and they might even correct it later
Please just read the article, its right thre they mention steemit several times after they mention the "steam blockchain" but yeah its just a typo, they 10% meant to say steem blockchain with two e's. There is no chance they were talking about anything else

They used to get us kids to go around selling stuff for fundraisers and then we would get prizes in a catalog, if we only knew how much money our kids could make for us
CHild labor laws ned to be changed to alow children to work as much as they want ONLINE like separate physical labor from fun internet work!
lets mke an ap that lets a child learnm then poston steemit to mkemoney, then watch some educational viodeos and THEN they get to watch youtube videos or play videohgames for fw hours, then they have to go do somemore work but they get rewarded by free time
the range of actvities u can do on a smartphone or laptop is incredible, its not just one sort of experience 'Using a computer" , so lets remember that a computer can be used to do work and to play! lets combine the two and find a balance!

This is really such a good news this is going to be useful for me learning more about blockchain and to use this knowledge for my campaign to introduce steemit to others as it was my vission since before.Im using the extra funds for those donations from me to introduce steemit to rural areas and to Mindanao people here in Philippines..Native people can also be a steemian I believe that there are some of them that has potentials to be part of steemit and learn about cryptos ,blockchains and steem...again @ackza thank u so much for the help and your help can be used by others.

Yes rural people in developing nations need smal solar chargersm smartphons, and cheap wifi or money to pay for mobile internet, and then steemit will be accesble to them, my project in Africa helps peopelget thos ethings, well ,ive sent two so fara nd money to buy more, and we need to manufacture our own cheap solar cghargers and find good cheap android smartphones , and we need REALLy cheap internet packages! i wanna find how to buy satellite internet receivers for free Outernet data plan which is a free satellite internet service

exactly and this is just now possible, but we could have ALWAYS been finding ways for children to form companies and make money on school but we really confuse kids, with this double think concepot of 'You can do whatever you want in life!' combined with "You cant make money, your just a kid!:" and it's just a mes, the smart kids should be allowed to compete onlione, and bloklchain gets rid of age restrictions! Bitcoin can be used by anyone of any age, and noone can takle it away frm you because youre under 18 .
I hope steemit doesnt have age restrictions in the futire, well it cant peopel can always anonymosuly make an account with anonsteem.com

This is great news. I always thought my generation would change the world but most of us don't understand what a blockchain is. A 100$ investment in bitcoin 7 years ago would have netted you $4.3 million, STEEM is about to be the same way. Glad smart teachers are taking the initiative and teaching children about this new technology that is changing the world.
just like bitcoin, steem will be this ubiquitous thing where people are buying houses and condos and cars and starting companies and it will be just like how big ethereum is, ethereum is a huge success for us all in the crypto world because it proves you can replicate the success of Bitcoin, and if u think about it steem only started last year but ethereum got a head start and has been in the works for years and so give steem some time to catch up, and we will see steem making some massive strides BUT IN TIME i have a feeling that steem is not going to really moon any time soin, i feel like its just gonna slowly go up but remain lo compared to bitcoins rise...THEN AGAIn we only need to gop from $1 to $2 to doubl, BTC has to go from $4000 to $8000 so ya maybe, we will see, steem has to keep adding nw peopel who will buy!
