Blog post folders. If we could put our older posts into folders for readers to find easier.

Just a random idea here.

I've been here since September so have posted quite a few blogs. I post about many different things but mainly I post my stories here.
Now if someone discovers my story half way through it would be nice if we could have folders on our blog homepage where they could find all the related post. Yes you can post links to earlier posts but these can add alot of extra length to your blog.
If we could have a list of folders down one side of our homepage that we could name (Like the picture folders for organising your photographs on windows.) we could organise our posts to make finding old posts easier.

Just a random idea, no idea if it is workable so putting it out there for you to mull over.

Now another random image from my PC.

This one is me, with editing of course.

That's a really great idea:) I also was thinking about it, that it would be great to have them

It would also make things easier if we could organise posts in some way.

If it were possible to extract all previous postings together in, say, XML or JSON, you could then use XSL-T or Javascript to show tables of contents, posts sorted by keywords, sorted lists of links to photos, etc. etc. It's feasible, but I don't know if it would have to be built into the Steemit front-end. It could also be a separate app to generate a content overview post.

Didn't follow half of that but caught the possible bit.
When it comes to explaining tec stuff imagine I'm as smart as a house brick and them simplify again ;)

Basically, it boils down to extracting all your postings into one big file, that is well-structured in the sense that everything in it is neatly tagged and classified. You can then select and sort at will from that file to create tables of contents, photo links sorted by keyword, etc.

What a brilliant idea! Someone is thinking about UI and ease of use.👍

Any help to organise are posts would be good folder per topic might even go already in the community direction they plan anyway.

I would be happy already with two button on our own blog page to see a) our own posts and b) what we resteem
