I definitely already lost the count about how many times I started a post saying something like, "A friend of mine showed me this thing", but what can I do It is just True =P
Recently my friend @lpessin has showed me a site named Channels.cc, Today I singed up on it and start reading what it was all about.
As far as I could understand from their About page the Idea of this site is to reward content producers (just like steemit) but a difference is that every someone open your post they automatically transfer a small amout from their wallet to yours.
This amount is on their currency named ChannelCoin (ℂ) and according to then you anytime you have more than 5 ChannelCoin you can exchange this token in a 1-->1 rate to US Dollar. I'm still don't know how does this happen but that's how they describe on their about page.
I'm still testing and learning more about it, so i might soon make another post more detailed about how to use, and how does it work.
For now I would like only to share the existence of this site with you steemit Bro and Sis! o/

Hmm, this is pretty interesting. I'm looking forward to learning more about it if you decide to give it a go :) Is the ChannelCoin a crypto by the way, or is ut just a point system without a blockchain?
They created their own crypto currency and you can buy it 1:1 for dollars. I expect the rate will go up and the new coin will increase in price.

The site doesn't automatically transfer a token. The "card" needs to be open for a certain length of time. I love the site. I hope you will check out at least one of my blogs:
