Hello steemains,
I will go straight to the point, as I promised to tell you more about what Voice Of Virtue [VOV] means. I would only give you an insight into what VOV will look like,
VOV is an initiative of @arcticfoe, @arcticsports and some people who are not yet on steemit. We have been going about trying to combat vices and we started with Help And Aid which is one of the branches of VOV and it was a success where we were able to feed some aged people. We are planning other projects also to help other people who have missed their road in life and who don’t have anyone to help them, most especially in Africa, south and North America and some Asian regions. A lot of people are trapped in regions of war infection, natural disaster and so on, and due to this they have had their futures plagued and destabilized. We want to make less painful for these people and help them brighten their future once more.
MY IMPRESSION ON WHAT STEEMIT SHOULD BE…………….
I was given the impression that steemit is a platform that helps, but when I dropped posts to support my help and aid campaign, I was not encouraged, as only few people supported which am very grateful for those that supported.
This platform was created to help each other but I realized that everyone only want to help only if they get something in return. When I joined this platform I read an article where a steemain said “don’t help on steemit because you want something in return but do it because you are investing” it’s the truth, when you invest you will surely reap your investment in the future.
Steemit used to be new members friendly but now, it is old members friendly. Those who are big earner are only helping other fellow big earners, leaving the small and medium earner on their own. It seems like this is not the best time to be a minnow or a newbie on steemit platform but there are some big earners, whales and witnesses that are still flying the flag of steemit; kudos to them and keep the good on.
I used to see steemit as a platform that is different from real life………
In real life the rich are trying to help themselves get richer, leaving the poor to themselves and at times these rich men tend to use the poor men to get richer and even worst take the little the poor have.
With the way steemit is going so far, am scared that the goal @ned and his partner had when creating steemit would be defeated.
ARISE STEEMIT
This is why I am calling on the steemit community and every steemians to rise up help join hand in assisting the community to uphold the platform goal. There is nothing wrong with every member on steemit making not less than $100 in a post. There is nothing wrong with this platform being rated in this same category or even more than that of facebook, instagram, twitter and other social network. That way member voices their opinion and earn well.
These networks have nothing to offer but steemit have more to offer, so let’s use it to our advantage. I am no crypto dealer so I can’t tell you how we can help SBD and STEEM rise but am a steemian and i want to help like my fellow steemians but for those who know how; let’s use it to help the community. A lot of people that would have added and influenced people positively have been discouraged and left the platform because they were not encouraged. Let’s try to encourage others and help the community grow.
This has to change, new steemians have to be given a chance to rise, which is one of the goals of VOV, very soon an account would be opened for VOV with the name @voiceofvirtue and you would be allowed to use the tag #vov or #voiceofvirtue.
We are trying to create a big steem power for the voice of virtue account and are pleading for help with donations inform of STEEM or SBD so that the moment the account is ready we will have a big steem power to vote.
