Steemit is a unique place. This is the largest platform where all the most talented people gather. Painters, photographers, sculptors - they all are unsurpassed, special and unique. Especially the word 'uniqueness' should be emphasized.

The modern world is amazing with the diversity of creative ideas and incarnations. Sometimes even wondered – where artists get such ideas, how do they find them, where they take inspiration?

One of such 'unique' artists is Jon Beinart. He is artist and an extraordinary person. You doubt? Just look at one of his creative ideas - Toddlerpede sculptures. It's unclear from where this idea came, but it definitely worth your attention.

It's scary, it's beautiful, it's absurd, it's wonderful, it can repel or attract. You can pick more opposing words, but one thing is true - it's unique.

Today you will not be surprised by ordinary painting, mediocre portrait or still life. The basis of work, the core of creative idea must be – uniqueness. In art history, there are many cases of unique ideas gave rise to masterpieces and entire directions. For example, Pablo Picasso and his artwork Les Demoiselles d'Avignon (eng. The Ladies of Avignon) from which the cubism started. In 1907, the year of creation, Picasso’ artwork was perceived ambiguously and made a lot of noise. Critics had different opinions; some considered this oil painting a masterpiece, while others considered it a shame. But the fact is Pablo Picasso gave a birth to new direction in art.

Cubism is art movement of an early 20th century. It’s characterized by geometric shapes and the desire to grind objects into stereometric components.

So, uniqueness is the beginning of something grandiose. And doesn't matter what this uniqueness is - terrible or beautiful - the main thing is that it is.

Jon Beinart please continue create, the world needs such unique people!
