Prizing it out appears to be the issue mind, something that is becoming more apparent on the 4th title of this post and the fifth blurby bit here. Type something allegedly poignant, drift off for 5, delete and start again.

I don't know what it is with new things. They're generally shiny or at least still white and give us a sense of what is possible, and that we can achieve the impossible.

Here it is, Steemit. New. Simple. Still white. There's a button that says 'Submit a Story'. I can do that. In fact, I reckon I can grasp the attention of everyone on here. Drift off again for 5.

The great thing about creating something new like this is that no-one is actually going to read it, well at least not in the near future. By the time any significant numbers are actually paying attention you will have long pressed out those bad habits and will have chiselled yourself into a discus flinging Greek god of tales.

So why not take this opportunity, to take this new shiny white thing and share those ideas of yours. Maybe someone will listen, maybe not, but at least you will know that you are doing it.
