Thanks - i have been wondering about exactly this after seeing one of my posts decrease in value by about 15%.
Are those two factors - 7 day median & person voting - exhaustive? I mean, are there no factors beyond this?

Well i think there are only those 2 reasons and most important are your voters who upvote other posts in 24 hour period. This is the main factor!
