I've been thinking about and seeing the numbers and reasoning behind all the increases lately both in Steemit, and the Crypto markets. I would like to apply some logic and balance here, in the midst of a lot of huge numbers and bring perspective of sorts.
I have not been able to follow everything, there is just SO MUCH happening every day right now and gathering......well - STEEM - in the entire crypto space. LOL.
But I know the whole world is watching more now, than ever.
People reading posts from outside the STEEM ecosystem who are curious, are going to want to be onboarded or join and get moving here. We need to remember they are new, and the new crypto people like we once were are not going to stop, they are coming to the markets and Steemit and crypto in MASSIVE numbers daily.

There are a ton of new people coming to Steemit daily and they need help, like we all needed help when we were new. I honestly try and remember this daily, and post useful content and repurpose content where it suits doing so, with SO many new people here and more coming daily.
It's a Gold Rush and this is the Wild Wild West in Crypto right now, and we are right in the early stages - here - together.
The following charts and graphics here are from @gavvet who has taken a lot of time to make posts targeting new users to help them. He has been taking some grief, and IDK the full story but I found his charts and graphs helpful, and they help make my points here tonite:

Are some people draining the rewards pool, some of the same people every day? Yes.
Is the entire ecosystem and community earning more and doing better overall these days? Also yes.

Yes.

Thanks for this. Very interesting time to be on this platform and for cryptocurrencies in general. India is going to take a call on the legal status of Bitcoin and other cryptos in about three months. That's likely to have a HUGE impact on the market just because of the sheer volume that will get traded out of India if it is legalised. Currently cryptocurrencies have a dubious legal status so people are hesitant to engage.

Back in 2013 when Bitcoin surged, Alt coins followed. I remember Stablecoins were worth almost 50 cents and people were buying them like crazy. Haven't heard of stablecoins? Be cautious where you throw your money.

will get people some resources on here I have made and also in comments sections of posts where I have found good 191 type stuff, and there is so much of it here.
The best part of getting into cryptocurrency through Steemit is you do not need to know about it - all you have to is write posts, post images, and comment on other people's stuff. The STEEM gathers as yougo along. At some point in the journey you can then learn how it all works - when your mind is ready for that.
It is not the same for all other crypto - step 1 tends to be harder.
You are so right on all that, this helps people learn crypto basics like I have said a few times on here now.

I always liked the idea of sharing the good news! It benefits us all! Too often, though, I get nasty responses from what I like to call NoCS (Not Crypto Savvy) or muggles (though I like there might be copyright issues there). I don't take those responses too seriously. It's just fear. And it doesn't keep me from letting people know, just the same!!
