I'm new to steemit and this is just the reason I've been unwilling to put time in to making post. Whats the point if the system is rigged and you ahve to know whales and how to use bots? This platform will never go mainstream if you keep this up. It will be a fringe site for crypto speculators at best. Great ideas on how to fix it. but i guess the whales could just spread out there steem power on different accounts. New platforms are coming out that are similar to steemit. Who ever solves this problems will survive.

Abuse will scare people away. Steemit's transparency will help solve this problem. I have suggestions but they might not be the best but at least we can have this open conversation so that we can come up with something that works.
