I read that posts could lose money when they are downvoted but I don't really understand how that system works.
It can't possibly be that you lost $ 500+ because of downvoting/flagging, right?

Not sure if I was downvoted or if I just fucked up when using the upvote bots. I spend $200 SBD, which I rounded up to $800 USD. I'll end up getting back $145 SBD and around 42 SP. So total I'm down roughly $10 SBD. Not a huge deal, just need to be more careful when using the bots is all.
