I do think that dolphins and whales should upvote their own post. It shows that you have invested in the platform whether financially or through creating great content and in turn investing your earnings into the platform. Those with the most invested stand the most to lose if the platform were to crumble, and in general dolphins and whales tend to post some of the most helpful and interesting content. They also have the ability to dictate a lot of what type of content steemit should be about. I say continue full steem upvote ahead!
