Personally I appreciate positive comments no matter what the length...I feel honored one read my post regardless of their ability to respond...not everyone has the time and brain power to comment with some lengthy retort....

However it sounds like I am missing something in terms of a Steemit concept that one receives a reward of some sort if they comment on a post? Therefore...a short and sweet post might just be a reason to accumulate some gain?

If that's the case...I see your point...but frankly...comes across a bit "elitist".....frankly...I am more perturbed by the "follow me" posts with no other comment at all.....

You just earned a reward for this comment that will be paid out to you in 7 days. Just like posting comments hold value as well. When someone leaves a I liked your post comment 1 minute after you just posted you damn well know they didn't read it and they are just mass spamming across the network. It is these types of actions I am flagging. The ones that are clear they did not read a single word and just spam.

Didn't realize you could see how long someone was actually on a post...learn something new each day...appreciate the info...
