Hello Stemians πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ,

Yesterday was my first ever day at Steemit πŸ˜€ and it was a great experience writing that first introduction and presenting myself to you.

And today as the second day in this community I want to share some of the things that I have learned till now. I want to keep it short, but I expect a lot of discussions and ideas from your side.

Second day in charge 😜 - What I have learned till now (7 Things) πŸ§‘β€πŸ’»

  • Good Posts get appreciated - This is the Great and the best thing that Steemit offers. I am seeing a lot of posts, articles, histories that get share and have a great value are appreciated and encouraged. I am starting to love Steemit more and more.
  • I should not be distracted when I see that a lot of users have a lot of followers, i shouldn’t be confused, or afraid that my way is very long to reach that target. I need to work every day and i can get there, i believe in this,
  • Avoiding using others people content, avoiding copying content from other sources and sharing them like they were mine, avoiding plagiarism.
  • Myself i should appreciate others people great work when they share great content
  • Be consistent in posting
  • Use more often images - I still will not use at this post πŸ˜… (i need to find the proper one)but at the others for sure i will use.
  • Keep sharing Steemit love to others people

So there you have these 7 learned things, have a look at these and please get involved by telling me, if i have learned the right things or the wrong one. Or if there are a lot more things that I should 've learned by sugggesting me other posts

Cheers πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ,
Gianni

The "Good Posts get appreciated" is not always true, and having a lot of followers does not necessarily mean anything. For example nowadays I have 1028 followers, but most of them are inactive nowadays. They left the Steem blockchain many months ago. The other points are good. Good luck! All the best!

@bravedevelopment

Thank you for your post. Your comments on plagiarism are spot on, but I wouldn't go so far as to not at least refer to other people’s content. I believe that's impossible.

We can't get through life or progress further without some knowledge foundation. I spent half my life in energy production, water chemistry, and radiation health. Even then, I seek to reference the work of others and seldom rely on ”this is my background” as a reference.

I try to take the college citation approach to my articles. Follow a similar pattern, and I feel you'll be ok. Of course, I feel the citation approach I write of is best applied to STEM.

Best of Luck

@scholaris

Thank you. Appreciate it.
Your comments have been great and to be honest i am amused from your great advices.
Thnx πŸ˜€

Distraction is your worst enemy on the path to building up a community around a hobby that you have or a subject you want to create. We all make mistakes and spreading our interest everywhere, just limits us from building something great. Hopefully you can make it!

Hi there. Welcome to steemit.
The thinhs you've learned is also the things that I also first learned after joining steemit especially the plagiarism one and if we use others contents, it's not wrong as long as we put in the source where we get the contents as a symbol of respect for the content creators.

Regarding good contents and how many followers do we have, good contents doesn't always get great upvotes and even though we hae many followers it doesn't meant that they will always able to vote for us for they absolutely have other steemians that the follow. I think a better way is to het to know a lot of community like @team-ccc, steembounty, powerhousecreative amd a lot more.

Also engaging with others. Comments and replies.

You are free to explore.

One more important thing for me is...

Don't give up easily. You'll find more interesting things here the longer you stay.

Well this is only a share of thoughts from me. Have a wonderful days in this platform.

And join some contests, it's fun.

Welcome to Steemit ... I hope to see another one of your publications soon ...πŸ™‚πŸ˜‰

Welcome to steemit mate πŸ™ good luck, I’m new and still learning the ropes too πŸ˜‰

I'm still trying to understand Steemit but at this point I'm enjoying writing short articles about my experiences for those who want to read and for myself(future).

You have learned the right things! I quit Facebook for Steemit.
