Why Real Estate Agents need a Pre-Listing Package.

in #steemit6 years ago

Did you know 80 to 90% of new Real Estate Agents fail in the first three to five years being in the business? The real estate industry with all this competition and discount brokers is a very hard business. With the right training passion mixed with a little hustle, you can be successful in real estate. Real estate is like any other industry and most people always try to cut corners to succeed but if you set yourself apart and do what other agents failed to do it will not be a problem for you to succeed in real estate.

Anytime you're applying for a job you have to fill out an application or resume think of your pre-list package and is your resume. you want the homeowner to be comfortable that you have the experience and knowledge to get their home sold within a certain time at a certain price point so they can put the most money in their pocket. having a well-planned and thought out Pre List Package will definitely set you apart from other real estate agents. did you know 60% or so of real estate agents don't even have a Pre List Package. By having one, you're already outperforming most real estate agents out there.

Here are the basics needed in your Pre List Package:

  1. A nice professional folder/custom folder
  2. Cover letter
  3. Has different names but basically your resume or your marketing plan
  4. A fully color comparative market analysis/CMA
  5. Net sheet

Tip: If you run across a hot lead and you're going to send them your Pre List Package either use an Uber driver a courier or send it hand-delivered yourself within 2 hours of the conversation. This will put you by far ahead and shoulders ahead of your competition.
