CGP Community Alignment
Community Alignment on Steem is probably one of the widest spread tactics for growth on the Steem platform. Many will find that after a few months or so after joining Steem they are on a select few discord servers, communicating with groups of specific interest, and reading and curating from niche areas daily.
The CGP is no different in this sense. CGP has aligned with several key groups to help launch the growth, spread awareness to the mission and bring visibility to these groups as well as helping people find these groups to expand their personal networks.

SMG has several projects built under it and CGP while it own entity is a supporting project of the SMG movement.

“Rainier Avenue Radio is an independent media resource which provides opportunities for the communities of Rainier Valley to engage with critical issues, compelling stories, and quality entertainment”
Rainer Avenue Radio also has a live radio broadcast in the SMG discord
-Comedy Show @comedyshow hosted by @artakush and @myndnow also know as “Winny” is another project under SMG with a goal to bring joy to everyone. “We all need to laugh to live”
-TeamVG @virtualgrowth is a crypto based community that travels to conferences and works in the crypto space to gain knowledge and insight to stay aware of new and emerging trends and ideas in the realm TeamVG is also a part of SMG
SMG has other cool features rolling in the discord server like games, movie nights, @sureshot promotion service and more. With so many communities in one space it was only right for the CGP to join forces and help support the growth of link minded people doing great things.

The alignment with #OneloveDtube is an easy choice a community that support anyone posting on DTube. CGP aligned with Onelove as most of the initial content being produced on behalf of the CGP was 90% Video. Onelove has its own curation trail, creators and family members and even it own IPFS Node which helps to support the videos and streaming of videos on the Dtube platform.

What I like to call the streamers guild, a community built around streamers on the Dlive platform. DUnite has its own Discord and works to help streamers and Dlive content creators find engagement and a home where they can grow their niche and get community support.

Known to me as the writers Guild @calumam and @penderis has this community on fire. I mean if you are a writer and you are not a part of #buddyup you are missing the chance of a lifetime.
The buddyup community is a place for writers of all skill levels from novice to expert. Novice can learn from experts and proven Steem creators in a fun interactive and loving community that is all about support and growth.

For any community to grow a community must have measurable objectives and a path forward

-@CGP Members recruit and refer Steem members to more communities and projects on Steem
-@CGP Members use the #communitygrowthproject tag to promote an CGP post once per week
-@CGP curation trail established to support curation of great content
-@CGP an established community incubator for projects and startups on Steem
Current Features
Currently the CGP has several avenues and projects working to help Incubate communities, as well as to help people find said communities.
While we have mentioned our community alignment there are also other communities on the platform that CGP has worked with to help build and grow. The CGP has done tutorials for @SteemThat, helping to grow community knowledge and engagement.
Steemthat is a community that helps people network and build and grow with there own website that gives a total social experience, and a chance for networking via groups, forums, and other resources. SteemThat Site
The CGP will do Vlogs, reviews, promotions, and give advice on communities or projects and refer members to said resources to help increase engagement and visibility across the Steem and other social platforms.

@kenraphael we are trying to move in a positive direction and promote growth for everyone communities and individuals this is actually the building of the official CGP account.
The CGP movement has been around a few months now, we have 80 videos in the series and most can be found under #communitygrowthproject feel free to provide feedback and suggestion. The discord is fairly new and so is the website both less than 1 week old.

This is dope.. I can't wait to see this thing grow and flourish. All the changes that have been made have been pretty confusing based on where I started with steem from the begining but this seems like a good way to help organize things.
Learning how to grow the payouts is one thing but without being able to grow communities I think steem is kind of pointless. We have to engage with more than robots, and unfortunatly, hat was the direction I think I was headed.
Anyways keep up the good work, I love following this project, can wait till to see that curation trail get going!
@bigtakosensei Its funny I was just about to send you a message saying thank you for your continued support and sharing of the work.
I agree most people are lost and don't normally know how to get started or where they fit in. The community growth project seeks to help people find there way and to help communities find people who fit there niche.
As an example I notice you like fitness, and also an advocate for smartcash. So you fall into a niche group of crypto and fitness/health. So there are groups like @srecipes that focus on cooking where you could get healthy eating tips from those community members. and that helps you find like minded people.
So in a sense we are not only creating content but building bonds and networks for people to grow and connect.
The curation trail will go live once CGP hits 500sp so the vote and reward pool is actually beneficial.
I would suggest start a fitness or crypto group on the http://cgp.life website and build your own network of friends and as we grow you and your community grow as well.
