I think a part of the issue is that steem born as a blogging platform. Now evolves and have so many other uses. Things like @steepshot or @Steemhunt also @musing i have some interactions with many users. In musing interact is just TO FAST! Ill do a question and in the day i get 3-4 responses.
Guess many people are not used to read much and that is something impacting on the blogging community. And Dapps are dividing the content and users into selective niches.
Ill put lots of effort on my writing and i think most people even read. Im not good anyways. But steem is a good place to improve my skills, my english is better than in the begining. Some of my desing improves also.
I have been curated once by ocd and i get whitelisted on the best community bot.
what you said is very true and if i may add some of the dapps/autovoting services/curation trails lead to extreme automation. There are tools though, useful tools that we as individuals tend to overuse to the extreme!
Also, i won't upvote the comment due to the low prices but i promise to check your posts upvote and comment some of them! (engagement and interaction is always better!)
