I think that all comunity should participate in promoting steemit. I decided to make some influence (get certain number of steems) and than call my fiends to join us. Why? Because as any product, you have to sell the story, sell experience!
So, I believe that firstly, you have to explain people how to use this network (to get answers and make some money). Secondly, to show them your success (you can be as me). And, finally, to call them to join us (call to action).
