Yes, you are reading it right - 1 000 000 accounts! The question to ask though is when?
The growth of Steemit over the past few months has been tremendous and will only accelerate once we reach 1 000 000 user base mark. At the time of writing, there are around 857 440 accounts so we cannot predict with certainty this important Steemit milestone. As I hit 8000 followers earlier this afternoon I thought it would be great to celebrate my personal success together with our beloved platform and share my happiness with some of you. So let's play a little game.

When is this magical number going to take the place?
In order to participate all you have to do is to put the exact date - month/day/year - in the comment section below. In order to avoid the confusion with months, write the month down - not the number of the month - for example March/19/2018. It is that simple. I will leave the contest running for the next 7 days before closing down your submissions. I will then go back to this post once we reach that magical mark of 1 000 000 accounts and split the price of 30 SBD equally among all the right guesses! That means for example if 30 people get it right I will then send 1 SBD to all 30 people if only 1 person then all 30 SBD will go to one lucky winner.

Congrats on hitting the #milestone of 8000 #followers brother, quite an achievement as I am trying to get to 1,000! I honestly believe we can see the jump over the course of May/June of 2018. Hi Thomas, I guess it will be next April surely. Yep...Steemit showing huge positive progress currently and future. No worries needed. Every steemians will be happy with great achievement.
