One thing that always niggles at me with the web these days is those pesky ads when you visit websites. There really isn't many pages you can visit (@steemit excluded) that doesn't bombard your screen with ads. But we have to remember that websites cost money to maintain and host so in defence of the website owners it is a good way to help balance the books!
This is why my attention has been drawn to PRL's project as they are looking to remove all ads from websites. Following their telegram channel they are stating that have finished the required coding to accomplish this and are already running their Testnet B.
Their smart method for achieving this without either the webhost or users experiencing negative effects is genuinely straightforward. The Oyster blockchain utilizes a modest level of web visitors PC for affirmations of transactions being sent on their system.
The hashpower that is obtained from the users device is so small they are unlikely to even notice it being used or experience a difference in their devices running power.
This will enable the client to give the webhost an advantage without the webhost needing to monetise with ads. An incredible marketable strategy, yet why contribute yet why should I be looking at investing now?
My main reason aside from being extremely bullish on the project and aim itself is that PRL has an airdrop coming up on April 6, 2018. This will be of the SHL token at a 1:1 ratio for PRLs held. After speaking to the Admin of their telegram channel they are unsure of which exchange is supporting the snapshot but they are suggesting Kucoin is one of the exchanges that should be a viable option.
Another great reason for eyeing up PRL is because they have just completed a token burn reducing their total supply by almost 10%.
With the airdrop, token burn and Testnet B in the mix now could be a great time to snap up the coin (currently trading at around $1.06 on cryptopia) before things get interesting. It is very likely many investors will start stocking up on the coin before snapshot.
