This person should also be able to maintain, upgrade, and monitor operating systems, databases, and servers. You will help improve our user experience while also enjoying the opportunity to position the company to effectively and quickly scale over the next year. You should be experienced in C++ and JavaScript. Python is a plus.Responsibilities:
- Define architecture, engineering, and operations management of global infrastructure (data centers, networks, systems, servers)
- Lead automation, continuous delivery, and configuration management
- Create and monitor KPIs, internal reports, and work across IT functions to continuously improve user experience and system functions
- Work across IT functions to ensure effective, complete, and timely solutions
- Produce and maintain documentation on incidents, and procedures requirements for systems
- Debug problems on a live production system
- Security maintenance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or similar) or equivalent experience
- Experience with PaaS services such as Elastic Beanstalk, Heroku, etc.
- Experience with Docker and containerization in production
- Experience with ECS a plus
- Experience with security
- An eye and mind for creating automated, simple, low maintenance solutions
- Collaborative team player capable of listening to different perspectives and implementing the best solution based on those views
