I think I made a mistake, flagship doesn't take direct submissions, I will redirect to bumper later in the day. Also, when I select buy under the sbd in the wallet, it takes me straight to blocktrades.us (I believe it is a part of steemit). It's an exchange so you can buy a few other coins, steem, SP and at one point they sold SP delegation but are now overbooked so they stopped.
no no don't do it there... You go to the market by clicking on the Menu Bar in the upper right (to the right of your icon)...
And then click on currency market and you should get this screen
The 3 circles are the 3 things you would need to figure it out... I have been buying at 0.365 conversion rate and then plugging in my SBD and it will automatically tell you how much STEEM you would get to compare.

And can you explain to me what you mean in the last sentence? I'd like to understand it, but haven't gotten a good explanation yet.
I was once on blocktrades to buy SP, among the buying option, they had buy SP delegation for a 4 weeks or 12months. They later had a post explaining that the option was removed because they had no SP left to delegate. When I started, steemit delegated 14SP to me, I belive you can increase it through this option but it is no longer available.
gotcha... yes I knew they delegated SP to the newbies, but I wasn't sure about where to get other delegation from. Cool, thanks for passing along the info. Keep sharing if you find something new. thanks!
