Instead of deleting you could tell people what you learned. There have been enough people who have asked about the slider and they would be interested in knowing about it and who can use one.

haha well there's not much to tell!
I didn't see the slider because I didn't have enough steem. When I wrote this I'd just deposited a decent amount but assumed I still didn't understand the slider. As soon as I clicked upvote on something the slider appears.
