I don't like it myself. I think the way it looks is being messed with so much it doesn't look like steemit any more. It isn't even the same logo. People have incorporated the old logo into their things here and outside to show support and share the message and now it is different.
I have a suggestion, maybe if you like this way offer it as a style choice but the default being the old version
