But both of these leave many details out. What about the pictures the articles use? If we cite them, can we use them?

Personally I have no issue with someone using my images with their articles, if they at the least give me a nod. I don't get a warm fuzzy feeling when someone simply post my image alone in an attempt to profit for themselves. I'm probably not alone.
