Steem.Supply Update: User Lookup By @username In URL, Workflow Improvements

Some of you may have noted some brief outages of steem.supply during the day, as I deployed the latest version, 0.1.8 beta. The main improvement of this version is the ability to lookup a user by entering @username in the URL, the same way it's done in the main Steemit app. With this improvement, Steem.Supply serves content under the same schema as all the other established apps in the Steem ecosystem: steemd.com/@username, steemdb.com/@username, etc (feature suggested by @ervin-lemark).

I also added a few minor improvements in the UI, like basic input checking and an improved workflow. Both of them are briefly described below:

When accessing the app for the first time, you're given the option to query the blockchain by using the form, or by using the @username segment in the URL

If the user is not found, a proper message is displayed (until now, the app was still querying the blockchain for rewards in the same loop)

All in all, these improvements should bring more stability and better standardization for Steem.Supply within the Steem ecosystem of apps.

Just one thing - I noticed a inaccuracy in voting power compared to steemnow.com...

You certainly have my vote for witness!

It may be that steemnow.com caches the results, what you see in steem.supply is the value taken at the moment of query (1-2 seconds tolerance). As the traffic load increases, I may have to ad caching as well. Thanks for supporting my witness!
