Hey everyone! We are back again, finally ready to move forward with the network and stretch our legs. If you are not familiar yet, our goal is to create a community of support that offers engaging content to users and rewards content creators who are dedicated to making great posts here on Steemit and other platforms on the STEEM blockchain. I urge anyone who has not yet had the opportunity to join our Discord and keep updated there as well.
Starting With A Jog
Although this account has been much less than active, it is mostly due to support constraints and team size. We are looking to change this going forward and hopefully, we will see support from the community to help us grow. With already 250 supporters and a few active memebers in the discord, our plan is expansion of the ESteem Network into a prominent force on Steemit. We will start by supporting users who post their content in the discord group under post promotion, and once we see that we are unable to keep up with the influx of posts manually, we will start the creation of an automated reward system or additional manual curation to assure only the best articles are chosen. With continual to support minnows and new creators, we hope to get up and running in no time.
On our side we will be creating a Weekly content newsletter which will reward chosen user content in SBD, to help minnow growth. Along with regular contests, the qualifications for this newsletter is that content is within 3 days old, user reputation must be under 65 but users under 55 will be given special attention, and the article must have been posted in the Esteem Network discord channel.
A Call to Curators! Rise Up!
We will also be opening curation accounts for users who want to make weekly content newsletters to reward new users in different specific tags. They will also be encouraged to create unique content backed by the network to engage users whether it be through contests or unique segments and posts. Curators will be encouraged to have at least some weekly activity, to assure that each tag is getting adequate attention. Hopefully, as these tag specific accounts grow their ability to reward minnows and new content creators in that tag will be increased.
Currently the tags we are looking to start up are Travel, Music, Art, Photo, Politics, Food, Business and Crypto We are looking to Dtube, Dmania, Dlive and Dsound, but will filter these posts for now as part of a tag based on subject matter. If you have an interest in helping create and curate the community around any of these tags, please don't hesitate to reach out in the Discord. This is a great opportunity for newer users to get involved in their niche, and make new friends!

Growing Creators Through Community
The goal of this new community is to offer creators another avenue for growth other than bidbots and minnowsupport. Don't get me wrong, minnowsupport is one of the best initiatives here on steem. But it will take more niche specific support going forward to allow new creators to grow and present their content to users with similar interest. This will not be a resteem spam, vote abusing system. Curators will be rewarded and are open to using bidbots and buying votes at their own disgression, but the main insentive is to generate a community that is genuinely interested in the content being brough to them, and not create another chat room endlessly being spammed with user links for no discussion.
