We are happy to announce the introduction/revival of the ESteem Network! Our initial hopes were to begin again in the new year, but with the surging traffic in the crypto world it seems right to start now.
What Is The ESteem Network?
Introduction
With the community constantly growing, and Steem at it's highest in months, the need for more good community networks continues to rise. This is why the ESteem Network is being introduced again now. The goal of this initiative is to generate and highlight more community content, while being able to offer promotions and contests that will help minnows and dolphins make it a little further down the current, to whale status.
But, What Exactly Will We Do?
The ESteem Network is a multi faceted diamond in the rough, and with the support of the community there may be a long lasting project ahead of us. The goal is to attempt to build a more communal network of accounts and content creators. Some of the greatest projects out there right now are community driven efforts which all help new content creators find success and a home on the site through different paths. The ESteem Network is a project that looks to introduce a new path for support by offering unique opportunities to tag-specific content creators and rewarding them with payouts that they can further invest into the growth of their account. By providing these opportunities, while also engaging community interaction and generating content within account specific tags, we hope to help the Steemit platform grow as a whole.
How does it work?
The way the ESteem Network will operate is by having multiple tag specific accounts which are supported by and organized in part by the main ESteem Network account. Examples would be ArtEsteem, CryptoEsteem, LifeEsteem, etc. Certain tags have already been assigned accounts owners who are in the midst of organizing content, while there are other tags that will be open to interested content creators to take over and begin curating. The goal of these account owners is three parts; engage your tag specific community, organize offers for content creators and also generate new unique content in your related tag. By doing this we hope to raise the "esteem" of all the tag specific communities. The doors are open to anyone here, we welcome users of all reputation and age of account.
Supporting and Generating New Content
The way the ESteem Network accounts will differ from other projects in the past is that we will offer our network as a platform for creators to grow their reputation. Once the project starts rolling, and different accounts begin to gain SP in their tags, it will be on the accounts owners (with help from the ESteem network) to start reaching out to unique content creators who they believe generate great content in a particular tag. In many community projects, one of the small downsides for minnows is regardless of the traffic they receive from being mentioned or featured, the user who is mentioning them still receives a higher payout for the shout out than the initial article. This is the common nuance of being featured on a page or in content that groups together other users work; they are great at generating new traffic for users but the payouts of the posts doing the feature are always higher than the payouts for the minnow content being featured. What if the minnow could get a portion of the payout for their featured article? That is proposed model, and will be tested and modified through many forms until it perfected.
Moving Forward
1. Get The Support Going!
The only thing the network will ever ask of you guys is your support. If you want to see the community grow, and the project be an influential part, upvote, follow, resteem and get the word out. As of now the network is few users and even consists of some new to steemit users who will hopefully be bringing new, unique content and more. What we need most are interested dolphins and whales who are willing to offer support or voting power delegation to the initiative. In this, that does not just mean giving us your voting power, but JOINING us and using that voting power as you see fit to engage and grow the ESteem Community. We could definitely afford to have a witness or two supporting the network and we are obviously open to anyone!
2. Join The Community
Follow the ESteem Net main page for updates in the weeks to come and join the ESteem Net Discord Channel. We want you guys on board! If you have 3 followers 6 posts and 10 SP, this is the chance for you to join a community that you can grow with and will support you as you find your way. We are looking for all the talent we can get whether its moderators and curators in the discord, content creators for tag-specific accounts, or someone to clean up the god awful logo we currently have... :)
3. Calling Content Creators
Again, if you create unique content and think you'd like to engage the community we need YOU! Whatever it is you're interest, there is a place for you to build your esteem and become confident in your future success on the platform. If your a dolphin or whale already happy in your niche, use your status to help uplift the little guy and give them the support to keep on keeping on.
