Do you comment on other people's posts? That will help you get more exposure around the community and give you more opportunity for upvotes.
I have noticed that, being the middle of the summer, fewer people are online and voting for others. Remember, this is a community that thrives on everyone interacting with each other. The more you put into the community, the more you will have the opportunity to get out of it!
