Transparency is actually what makes the blockchain system so great and gives it such potential for being applied to the political world.
I understand the concern of people seeing everyone elses wallets. but one thing it does is forces people to be responsible and take encryption more seriously... 16 digit encryption is great but why not 30 digits ;)

But users cannot take full responsibility for security. Open their financial status means to put them under the blow.
it's not open to use unless they have your password.
Yes the top wallets on the blockchain might be targeted but if their properly secured the hacker would just be wasting their time
