Thanks for the reminder bro! I strongly kick against signing in using anything other than steemit.com During the downtime all I do is wait. I havr heard of busy.org but haven't tried it yet. I dunno if I am missing out on anything not using it. Steemgigs is family and I totally have a home there. Thanks for always having us at heart. Well you are not exactly missing out but it is okay to have options. Busy is renown and they implement steemconnect v2 for thiird party applications, which is a partnership with steemit, so any third party that implements that during sign in is acceptable. for steemit-like interface, the only other one i can recommend is https://steemitstage.com which is a sandbox or virtual machine for steemit.com updates. So it is exactly like steemit but helps steemit devs test features before implementing these features on to steemit.com. Overall, there will always be need for 3rd party apps cos it is the steem blockchain and many like steemit.com, dlive, dtube, dsound are interfaces built upon steem for different needs
Ok I get the points right. busy.org and steemitstage.com be the best alternatives then. I also strongly believe the devs are putting in a lot work to guarantee we experience less down time. Steemit is bae.
