Taman Hutan Raya K.G.P.A.A.Mangkunagoro I, is a natural conservation area to support, education, tourism and recreation. Is the only forest park in the province of Central Java. In tahura ngargoyoso there are various types of flora consists of different types of endemic vegetation, and fauna are some of the rare fauna that no less than 34 species of animals. Tahura Ngargoyoso is managed by Research Institute of Plant and Management of Forest Park (BPTP Tahura) which is the Unit of Technical Implementer of Central Java Provincial Forestry Service. There is a villa and hall rented out to the public. For makrab activities, facilities in Tahura is quite complete. There is a mosque and a field to support activities.
Tahura can be reached by traveling about 1.5 hours from the city of Solo towards Tawangmangu. One thing you should notice when going to Tahura is the condition of the vehicle.
