Steemit was introduced to me by a friend and co-worker (@yokilove) a few weeks ago. My interest was piqued as it is my first time to have heard about blockchain mining. Got really excited as soon as I received an email back from my Steemit friends. Though I am still in the "getting-to-know" stage I am looking forward to discovering, learning and sharing of the benefits of this new found social network.
