Posting Comments - Appreciating Efforts Of Others

in #steemit6 years ago

Two to three sincere sentences posted to every blogs that comes across our sight can always make an author feel his/her work is acknowledged. Let us all give that to our fellow steemians who really deserve a few seconds of our time.

Comments can also be a form of disapproval to the thought conveyed. We can always acknowledge the fact that the points were made and if you strongly agree to those thoughts then a comment is a great start to have a genuine engagement to the author.

Posting comments here on steemit (or any social media platform) is a great way to become popular as well. You will be able to gain visibility among other active members seeing your thought-provoking lines, your powerful words collected in one or two lines, some bragging lines strut is always acknowledged and seen by other readers and therefore all of these factors will give you replies that would lead to gaining followers and creating a good relationship to other members/steemians.

In lieu of this idea or a regular activity we do in this great platform, I would also like to acknowledge some steemians who have really posted good comments in my posts or any other blogs (here on steemit) that came across my sight.

To see people who have posted a comment to your blogs (For Newbie Concern) check it here:

Open each of those links and check the comments

Engage with fellow steemians with thought-provoking reply with long messages like these.

My commenter for the week

Again my dear fellow steemians, posting a comment is FREE! Do not be stingy giving acknowledgement to people who deserves it. We are all smart what to post and not just a simple "great or nice post" Hahaha you'll be flagged as a spammer. I hope I will be able to add fun in your steemitlife the most effective way possible.

The best part of commenting - #whales usually just drop by popular posts and upvote genuine comments

Enjoy the rest of the week!

thank you! I hope I get a lot of followers too! Hehehehe!

Another great article @fycee! I think the whole concept of engagement really should be underlined, and you speak to it very well here. We all have a voice and people love to get feedback! It is such a simple way to play an active role in the process of community building, and that is what a decentralized media platform is all about, building community!

People love getting feedback, being challenged, engaging in discussion. Your comments may take the discussion in a entirely new, thoughtful direction! This is important, it helps everyone to grow, to learn to expand the community's knowledge. The comments may help to grow a new project here on SteemIt, or to launch a new forum in Discord or elsewhere.

Several times now I've provided lengthy and thoughtful comments on posts and, to my surprise, a big fish dropped by and dropped $5/$6 on it. This does happen, but only if you engage :)

this is really nice. thanks for voicing out @fycee. Everybody needs an appreciation, it feels to good really to the author of the post. Our mind will continue to roll on as we read any word from our fellow steemian,be it be good or not too good, it will create conversation.

Thank you so much for the comment. Now this is a great feeling that this moment knowing that you were acknowledged by the people whom you know they are good as well. A sincere remark will automatically create a good engaging conversation that you would always want to check over and over again if a response was already posted.

not only with commenting, as you can earn just by commenting alone
if you devote to connect to other steemians, you may gain upvotes also just by dropping to their post

Exactly! Introducing my mentor sir @albertvhons

Commenting is a great way of introducing yourself to others. I do about 20-25 a day on other people's post aside from the comments on my own.

Engagement is a necessary skill to be successful in Steemit

Thank you once again for dropping by. Engaging to your fellow steemians needs to be tapped with sincerity which should already be innate within us. Enjoy the upcoming weekend ^_^
