Dining in the sky
Have you ever had a dining experience 80m above the ground with only a 10 tonne crane holding you suspended? My girlfriend surprised me for my graduation.
Situated in Greenstone, Johannesburg, South Africa in a nature reserve, this beautiful setting is definitely a soul catcher.
We arrived, were strapped in chairs like a formula one or Nascar drivers for our take-off. We then had a countdown to the lift. We ascended rapidly reaching our cruising altitude. We had Asian tourists to our left with their selfie sticks and another couple to the right with awing panoramic landscapes surrounding us.
The thought of taking a photo and your phone slipping and crashing to the floor 80m down was quite amusing. What would you tell your insurance lol um, well I was 80m in the sky and...
We had drinks, double Gin for me with soda, sipped away and watched the romantic sunset, taking in all the sights the eye could see.
We then receive some eats which were delicious.
Overall the experience lasted 1 hour and cost about USD 50 per person.
This was an exclusive event with only 20 such people at a time. This gift was a sky high experience which I recommend to all. Let yourself lose your head in the clouds.
