Today I am bringing 3 ways in which you can get notified about Steemit notification.
Steemify app (only available at IOS)
Link to install - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/steemify/id1290154477?mt=8This is the best app to get notified, not only you can get notified about your account but you can also get notified about anyone specific account you want to follow.
Unfortunately this app is only avilable for IOS user for now.
Steemification (chrome extension)
This is for chrome web browser. You can get notified about upvote, downvote, comments of any specific steemit id at a time.
Gina bot.
This is little bit difficult to set up, so i have attached a video special thanks to @crypto49er for creating the video.
Using Gina bot you can get notified about your account as well as anyone specific account you want to get notified if they post something new.
Also you get notified according to the tags if you want.

you can use esteem app for Android phone. But I haven't used it. Many android user uses esteem so I believe it's good.
@guggis Good info my friend. I was finding the same info that how to get notifications. They don't have app for Android ? This is official app by steemit or the third party app ??
No app is official. But all the 3 options doesn't ask for your credentials. So you are safe. Also they are very trustworthy.
Also for the android you can use "esteem" app for Android phone, but I haven't used it. Most people use esteem so I believe is trustworthy.

What are the benifits of steemify?
Just try you will know, it will notify about every thing from upvote on post, upvote on comments, someonce mentions you, you can track other multiple user and it will give you the alert when they post and lot more.
There are many notification the app provide you need is try it to know.
Through gina bot you can do much more than notification. I was reading about it the other day. BTW nice post. Do check my post also for positive vibes
