Also, internet hosting giant "1&1 Internet" announced a week ago that it will be entering the blockchain industry. Robert Hoffman , CEO of "1&1 Internet", said in a statement this morning that his company is in talks to acquire Boston based technology firm Nebulous Inc. "We believe that decentralized networks are the way of the future, and we plan on getting in on the ground floor" Robert said in a german paper interview earlier this week.

Nebulous created and operates Sia, which is an actively developed, decentralized storage platform. It utilizes the blockchain for cheaper cloud storage and hosting integrity is protected using redundancy and cryptography. Sia uses a cryptocurrency, called the Siacoin.

David Vorick, co-founder of Nebulous, said that this deal represents the coming of age for internet hosting companies.

"We are thrilled to be part of a huge paradigm shift in hosting and cloud storage technology"

This is going to be big.

This look to be quite promising if Sia can sort out their GUI and block sync times and on top of that are acquired by such a large company with resources then it truly possible for them to take of quickly.

Nebulous is interesting speculation, the gui info is outdated

While I appreciate your intention in tipping us off, this post is actually a year old, and referred to June 28, 2016.
