For my first post I wanted to talk a little about this social network called Steemit
This project was started by Ned Scott and Dan Larimer, in the month of March of the year 2016.
Steemit's way of working resembles web pages like reddit, obviously having differences.
Users or members can make an upvote to the content they want and depending on how many votes are obtained a reward in the form of steem will be obtained. The fact of voting content also makes getting rewards in the form of steem

It is the cryptocurrency on which Steemit is based. It is quite similar to BitCoin, although a big difference is that the rewards are more for authors and curators than for the coin creators themselves.
