We should change the default display from 'TRENDING' to 'NEW' or 'HOT'.
I think this can improve the discovery of new content. We may see lots of junk content in the NEW section though. But it will contribute to give a sense of what this community is about. On the other hand, 'Hot' content seems to refresh more often than 'Trending'

I would prefer it that way, but i think its designed for people to enter the site and see these huge amount of cash and feel tempted to join. Besides if i went to a page with tons of shitpost and 0.00 to 0.01 not sure if i would be interested

Yes I think it is designed to be a "honey trap" - like fly-paper for the newbies.

Go to active. I found that it tends to change alot and contains gems.
Now it is set to trending to attract newcomers, to show them how much money can be earned for users for "good" content. "New" content, with low wages and some junk stuff may discourage some people.

New, certainly not. I'd prefer if they just rework the algorithms for Trending so it's not so obviously based on the rewards.
