RE: STEEMIT= Smart Mining, Smart Earning and Smart Living. Nothing else is better..!

The whole concept of 'mining w/our minds' totally rings true for me. I love social media and blogging, but I kept finding myself getting burned out on other networks because of how exhausting the work is to create and curate quality content, and then to feel like you yourself are being mined by the big companies. With Steemit, I find myself wanting to interact on here more and more over my other social networks, if only because I know that not only will the interactions be a lot more thoughtful, but my energy doesn't feel drained after commenting or posting. I know that I'm getting something back on Steemit in return besides a Like or a retweet or even some emoji. While those feel good to get, they only encourage addiction. I'm a human being and I'm tired of being mined and farmed for my data at the expense of my health and my relationships.

I like this. You absolutely should decide the worth of your Mind Mine. The internet is evolving and I am glad I am here to witness the start of it. Before now, the centralized internet made the earnings exclusive to some, but with Steemit leading the pack, decentralization feels really good. Thank you for stopping by to lend your support to the article.

I agree, and I feel the same way. When I watch big companies and politicians fight over it, I watch them fight over an Internet that no longer exists. I've been saying for years that the Internet is only beginning and we still don't know what it can be. Decentralization and the blockchain are the future, and like you, I feel so blessed to be witnessing its beginnings. It reminds me of discovering the Internet as a kid in the 90s. Just when I was beginning to lose faith, I feel reimbued with inspired by how much possibility lies before us.

Thank you for your encouraging and uplifting thoughts, @ejemai. I know I was meant to read them tonight.

Thank you mate for being here to inspire as well.
