Hey everyone! I wanted to proudly announce that I will be interviewing the incredible and innovative Dan Larimer later this week!
It was just confirmed yesterday.
@Dan is of course the mind behind Steem, Bitshares and EOS, the latter of which I plan on speaking with him about. EOS has been really interesting me lately and has had my full attention. The fundamentals of EOS seems unlike any other cryptocurrency I've seen and the potential appears to be enormous.
We will talk about Steemit a little bit as well, but I truly believe that EOS is going to be a force to be reckoned with, especially after the ICO is over in June.
Usually I'm not crazy about ICOs, but EOS is definitely special, in a world of its own.
I'm looking forward to bringing you this interview and I'm very excited about it myself. I've spoken with so many interesting people over the years, but I've unfortunately not had the chance to properly talk with Dan. I'll likely be doing a secondary in person interview if everything works out at Anarchapulco 2018 in Acapulco Mexico.

We are in such early days the impact of what @dan is doing is much bigger than we can realize from where we are observing it. When we look back at this time in 5 years we will see just how big of a shift it is.

Hey man, this is awesome news. One of my heroes for sure.
Would you consider asking him about the energy implications for blockchain technology and to especially elaborate on what I believe are extraordinarily energy-efficient platforms that he has built?
Bitcoin is a huge energy hog and could really (further) threaten our existence via carbon emissions and contributing to climate change. As someone who sees the potential in blockchain to really revolutionize and decentralize all systems, I am concerned about the energy-use aspect.
I would so greatly appreciate this Josh. I believe this is a key talking point to move things towards greater adoption. Like, if everyone started using Bitcoin, it would literally fry the planet. If @Dan has thoughts on this and any data to support it, I think that it would go a long way. It would certainly help me to have another clear talking point as I spread the word about this amazing technology.

lol I hear you, but there are armed guys all over Acapulco. You should see the military police driving around there with mounted machine guns on the back of their trucks. Crazy.

It’s not the guys with guns I worry about. It’s the guys signing their checks! Might be one of the only places I can fit in though so potentially worth the risk 😂
