We live in a society that every day shows us the way she wants us to live. Modernism, consumerism, behaviors, customs, etc. So that we go to the house our way of living. (RVR 1960. Romans 12: 2) Do not conform to this century if there are no transformations through the renewal of an understanding, so that we can prove what the will of God is, pleasing and perfect.
We will receive from the beginning of our lives a model, which at the beginning is directed by our closest environment that are our parents. Certain type of customs and behaviors. Parents believe in the best, that they believe. Then in the course of our development and growth, comes the society and the interaction with people, and takes an important role in the formation of that man, I speak in the general term Man - Woman.

Once rooted all these customs and patterns of lives absorbed in this society. We apply them in our way of living, in the rest of our lives, in the family environment, and in the society where we live. And so we are transmitting it from generation to generation.
(RVR 1960. Ephesians 4: 22-24) Regarding the past way of life, cast off the old man, who is tainted according to deceitful desires, and renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, created according to GOD in justice and holiness of truth.
To meet God, and discover that through him, this new life, and the transformation we are always looking for, are possible and achievable. It is an extraordinary trip.

Through his word, and his Holy Spirit, we are guided to improve that fleeting existence in this life. Such a transformation is internal. And it will be reflected in the external. This starts in our heart.
By appearances or by words we do not become better men, if not by the true transformation, which does not mean, that we do not do good works, because this pleases God, but to do it according to his divine plan, beginning by letting the change our hearts, guarantee us the fullness, that only in him is found.
Improving our style and quality of life is possible in many ways, but it is much easier and more accurate with the help of God.
Our Lord Jesus Christ left us two great commandments, love GOD above all things and love your neighbor as yourself. RVR 1960 (Matthew 22: 36-39) Jesus also taught his apostles two great foundations, service to others (Servicial), and the renewal of our mind (way of thinking). This is not about religion but about changing and having a better way of living, a better lifestyle, which contributes to improving our environment and society in general.

How to change?. Asking God to help us achieve it. Yielding our will, leaving, haughtiness, envy, slander, pride, resentment, our habits entrenched, bad habits, how to express ourselves inappropriately, leave everything that is harmful to our body (vices).
I finish saying what I think. God has crossed this wonderful platform, to guide us towards his freedom, helping us to improve our quality of life, everything else is on our side. It is a daily process.
RVR 1960 (Ephesians 4: 29-32).
You choose, the new or the old ---

A fraternal greeting to all the members of the community.

In the book of Ephesians, Paul also addressed the "old man" theme. "But you have not learned Christ like that, if you have truly heard him, and have been taught by him, according to the truth that is in Jesus. As for the past way of life, get rid of the old man, who is tainted according to deceitful desires, and renew in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, created according to God in justice and holiness of truth " (Ephesians 4: 20-24)

The word despojaos in this verse, essentially means "to move away" or "to renounce". Paul was teaching the members to drive away their old man-the natural selfish and sinful way we think and act in this world of evil. Our old man is deceitful (Jeremiah 17: 9), he can even convince us that we do not need to change or that God's way is very hard. It is naturally opposed to God and his laws (Romans 8: 7). Our old man produces what Paul calls in Galatians 5: 19-21: "the works of the flesh" includes adultery, anger, jealousy, envy and drunkenness.

Beautiful, well explained.

This is the central idea:

Through his word, and his Holy Spirit, we are guided to improve that fleeting existence in this life.

When our minds and hearts are transformed by the Holy Spirit, we put on Christ. Paul describes this dramatic change in our hearts and minds as Jesus Christ living within us.
“… You have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him” (Colossians 3:9-10).
