Still, I haven't understood about this 30 min curation timer. Can anybody explain me in simpler way?

30 min after posting. = You get 100% of your curation reward.
27 min = You get 90% of your curation reward, 10% goes to author.
24 min = You get 80% of your curation reward.
etc....
3 min = You get 10% of your curation reward.
