How Can I Generate Curation Rewards?
In Steemit, you can earn bonuses through blogging / commenting and by vote too! When you upvote other people's posts, you receive a small portion of the posing value in the form STEEM. Bits of STEEM is called "Curation Rewards".

Distribution
Steemit Rewards are divided into two groups of people. 75% of incoming payment for author posting / comment while 25% for curator. This "Curator" represents anyone who gives Upvote a post on the 7 day payment window.
How to Maximize Your Curation Rewards
25% of post payments are shared among all curators. However, in 25% of your upvote.
Here is how it all works:
If you give Upvote to the post before the age of 30 minutes, you give up some of the potential of your curated gift directly to the author. If you update your post before 30 minutes, rewards are shared differently.
Here's the Explanation:
0 minutes 100% of Curation Reward is given to the author.
3 minutes 90% given to the author and 10% to the curator.
15 minutes 50% given to the author and 50% to the curator.
27 minutes 10% given to the author and 90% to the curator.
+30 minutes 100% of Curation Rewards awarded to the curator.

Voting Tips: If you want to maximize your Curation Rewards, the best is upvote after 30 minutes. However, if you want more support for the writer you are upvoting, it is a nice move for Upvote before 30 minutes pass.
